Epithalon

Research Phase
Anti-Aging & Skin
Epithalon

A synthetic tetrapeptide that activates telomerase, potentially extending cellular lifespan and slowing biological aging.

Administration

Subcutaneous injection

Dosage Range

5-10 mg daily for 10-20 day cycles

Mechanism of Action

Epithalon stimulates telomerase production in somatic cells, extending telomere length and potentially increasing the Hayflick limit. It also regulates melatonin production and normalizes circadian rhythms.

Clinical Benefits

Activates telomerase enzyme
May extend telomere length
Regulates melatonin production
Improves sleep quality
Potential anti-aging effects
Normalizes neuroendocrine function

Clinical Evidence

Russian clinical studies by Professor Khavinson showed increased telomerase activity and improved health markers in elderly patients. Long-term studies suggest reduced mortality in treated groups.

Side Effects

Injection site irritation
Mild drowsiness
Headache (rare)

Contraindications

Active cancer
Pregnancy
Autoimmune conditions
